This course, as a continuation of Worship through Genesis and Revelation, gives students an opportunity to explore what it means to view worship with an eternal lens. The Book of Revelation gives us a glimpse of what awaits us in history as future. We will examine the revelation of Jesus as revealed to John on the isle of Patmos. As we seek to understand the spiritual activity of worship, we will address and examine the following:
– The significance of Jesus revealing Himself post-resurrection to John;
– Who/what is the church? The relationship of Jesus to and His authority over the church;
– What does the Book of Revelation show us concerning the eternal purpose of worship?
– The innate desire to worship and its spiritual value.
Please note, this course is six weeks long so attendance and assignments are pertinent to the success of this class. First class is April 17, 2021 and will commence each Saturday thereafter.
