PP2 Lesson 4 When God is speaking through signs and symbol

Throughout the word of God the Lord spoke in many ways many times He would use things in nature to represent or to speak of someone or something. In Zechariah first chapter there is a call to return to the Lord.  Zechariah 1:6

A name that we see used by the prophet is the LORD of Host  this is a representation or name used to represent God Yahweh. When the LORD is in all capital letters it is expressing the name Yahweh the self- existent, redemptive God. Host in Hebrew is sabaoth, meaning armies  this army can be spiritual or natural. LORD of Host expresses God’s sovereign control over every power, dominion, force, and realm.

There are 10 vision in this book but we deal with one verses 7-8 begin to  speak of the red horse, the myrtle tree,spekled horses and white horses. 

We want to one look at the colors of the horses what does these colors mean?

Examine this mrtyle tree what would it represent? Why was the man on the Red horse hiding behind this tree.

Verse 15 who are these heathens that the Lord was speaking of at this time these are things we will discuss in class but I desire you to begin to study and researh Zechariah chapter 1
