CORE VALUES IN MINISTRY

What Makes Total Worship Center who we are? Our Foundation.

Worship:

What is worship?
In a simplistic form, worship expresses to God His worth and supreme value. It is the full expression of the heart (mind, soul and will) that suggests a relational commitment and surrender to God, expressed in an act of obedience, submission, and declaration. (Genesis 22:5; Romans 12:1-2; John 4:23-24)

What does the Bible say about worship? (John 4:23-24)
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (The HOW one worships God, in spirit and in truth)

Elaboration:
Why is it necessary to change the current perspectives that exist on worship?

I believe that many in the world are seeking something beyond superficial and just ordinary life experiences, while in this same season, many in the Body of Christ are also hungering and

thirsting after something more than a shallow or surface experience in their relationship with God.

It is noted or seen in our society that we are living in the age of AI (meaning) Artificial Intelligence; where Robotics and

Electronic capabilities are the controlling elements of our society, for the purpose of providing superior or extraordinary life experiences.

YET, WITH THE PROLIFERATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, MANY ARE STILL SEARCHING FOR MORE!! WELL, I DON’T CARE HOW MUCH ROBOTICS AND THE LATEST ELECTRONIC GADGETS ARE DEVELOPED TO ENHANCE OUR NATURAL SENSITIVITIES, IT CANNOT AND WILL NOT REPLACE THE EXPERIENCE OF ONE ENCOUNTERING THE POWER and PRESENCE OF GOD, THE HOLY SPIRIT.

THEREFORE, I BELIEVE THIS hungering and thirsting many in the Body of Christ are longing for, is a supernatural encounter with the presence of God. A mere shallow or surface encounter by just taking a 30-second praise break just does not work. In other words, many want to “Go Deeper”. Furthermore, change happens in worship when we go deeper. The Bible declares: Psalm 107:23-31 KJV:

“They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters; These see the works of the LORD, And his wonders in the deep. For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, Which lifteth up the waves thereof.”

Finally, it is vitally necessary to change the current perspectives that exist in worship because it appears that the body of Christ has become too “shallow” (meaning adj. Superficial, Glib, Schematic, Slight, Flimsy, Lightweight and Empty)
